The Fact Strategy Progression sheet has a suggested progression of multiplication facts to practice. It also has suggested strategies to help students find the product of the multiplication fact.
Click and print the array board above. Students can use the board and two index cards to visually see the multiplication fact. This helps them to see smaller arrays to arrive at the final product.
For example, 6 x7 can be broken up into ( 3 x 7) + ( 3 x 7) or ( 6 x 5) + ( 6 x 2).
